Three more tenants join Business Garden

Since the beginning of this year, three new tenants have joined the Business Garden office campus developed by Vastint Latvia: a Luminor Bank branch, automotive software distributor AMIT Baltic, and Alfa Laval, an international company producing industrial equipment, specialised products and engineering solutions. All three tenants explain their choice by the strategic location of Business Garden and the wide range of amenities offered by the office campus.

On 14 January, Marupe, a new Luminor Bank customer service centre, opened its doors at the Business Garden building at Malduguņu iela 2. Alongside the excellent location, the accessible environment of Business Garden also played a decisive role in the tenant’s choice. The design of the customer service centre is characterised by wooden finishes and greenery. Visitors can receive advice from bank specialists by appointment, as well as use the self-service areas and an ATM that is accessible for customers with disabilities.

“The strategic location in Pārdaugava and the accessibility of the environment are among the considerations we took into account when planning to open a new service centre in Marupe. The premises of the Business Garden complex are modern, adapted for people with reduced mobility and designed using sustainable solutions. We are very pleased to be opening this beautiful office and to be closer to our clients from Pardaugava, Marupe, Jurmala and even Kurzeme,” says Kristīne Dērica, Customer Service Manager at Luminor Bank.

In January, the office of AMIT Baltic, a distributor of automotive software, also opened at Business Garden. The company distributes AutoMaster, a resource management system designed for car import, sales and after-sales service companies. For their office, the tenant chose an open-plan layout with separate spaces for a kitchen, as well as meeting and relaxation areas.

“We started looking for a new office because we couldn’t achieve an epidemiologically safe climate in the previous one. We wanted an office in Pardaugava, but we were not prepared to compromise on comfort or quality. Business Garden, with its convenient location, flexible layout options, ample parking spaces and multiple amenities, proved itself above the competition. We are also pleased with the modern indoor climate system – we constantly monitor the CO2 level and quickly found the Business Garden environment to be safe for us,” Aigars Jermolajevs, CEO of AMIT Baltic, comments on his choice of Business Garden.

The third new tenant is Alfa Laval, a world leader in heat transfer, separation and fluid-handling solutions. Headquartered in Sweden, the company operates in more than 100 countries and implements high standards for the comfort and well-being of its employees in the workplace. In line with the company’s standards, the Riga office has a closed-plan concept, with all workstations in cubicles.

“Our challenge was to find a relatively small office in Riga that would meet the values and standards defined by Alfa Laval. Business Garden appealed to us because of its excellent location and the added value created by the campus’s extensive facilities – a sustainable and functional environment, modern equipment, The Lounge concept space, landscaped surroundings, and ample parking space for cars and bicycles. Alfa Laval’s head office in Sweden immediately approved this choice because we share similar thinking and values with Vastint. I would also like to highlight the owner’s high level of professional management, flexible approach to office planning, smooth preparation and adapting the premises to our needs,” says Ilze Lenša, CEO of SIA Alfa Laval.

All the new tenants said that they are looking forward to spring, when they will be able to fully appreciate the benefits of Business Garden’s thoroughly landscaped surroundings – the opportunity to have lunch, relax and work in the green courtyard, as well as indulge in physical activities on the specially equipped sports ground.

As the number of Business Garden tenants grows, so does the range of industries represented on the office campus. We have already reported that at the end of 2021, ALD Automotive, an international full-service leasing and fleet management company; Forma 2, a construction supervision and project management company; and Philips, a world-famous manufacturer of electronics products, started working at Business Garden.
